Hope the week’s treated you well. I’m hanging out in Adelaide, my home city, for the Fringe/Festival season and this week I’ve been squeezing reading and review writing between morning walks on the beach, writing days, nights in the Garden of Unearthly Delights and trips to the theatre. Life’s tough. I’m particularly excited because ADELAIDE WRITERS’ WEEK STARTS TOMORROW!!! It’s the first time in five years that I’m home for the whole week and hoping I’ll be able to catch at least a session or two most days. It’s also the first time, perhaps ever, when the festival hasn’t coincided with a heatwave; we are looking at an entire week of near perfect weather!
But I’m getting ahead of myself. Reviews from the week that was below, and if you’re out and about in Adelaide this weekend, I’ll see you in the tents!
