This week be a brief one, friends. I could make excuses, but I have none save that writing is hard and sometimes saying what you want to say in the way you want to say it takes more time than you’d like. And quality wins over quantity. Always.
I have been and still am deep in the world of YA. I reviewed Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff’s Illuminae (Allen & Unwin), and, really, it deserves all the stars in the universe. There is so much to love about this book. And then, in the midst of my Illuminae fangirl moment, I stepped back and took stock of the fact that I a full-grown woman who loves nothing more than teen fiction. And I’m not alone.
