TGiF: The Weekly Wrap Up

Our first week back after the better part of a month off, and what a week it’s been!

We caught up with Lori Hettler, founder of The Next Best Book Club and Blog, to find out what it takes to run one of Goodreads’ largest and most active groups. We also had a chat with Adelaide author, Rose Hartley, who has recently returned from the 2015 Clarion Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers’ Workshop and been selected as one of two writers to take part in the South Australian Hachette Mentoring Program.

In books we reviewed Lauren Groff’s sweeping literary epic of love and loss, Fates and Furies (Riverhead Books, 2015) and looked at five fabulous reads from one of our favourite authors, Scarlett Thomas.

We also posted our first issue of our fortnightly e-news, Lectito’s Latest. Take a peek, and if you haven’t yet, join our mailing list (we pinkie swear we will not spam you).

We’ve got a big weekend of reading planned, and a bunch of exciting books to talk about next week. Until then, enjoy the sunshine and happy reading!

Today is going to be awesome
